Vol. 4 "Fokker D.VII Anthology"

'Datafile Specials' does not list Volume 4. I guess the proper question is: Was Vol. 4 ever published? If not, does anyone know if there are plans to publish it? Thanks!

Nope, it was never published. Haven't heard whether there are plans for it or not.
Cheers,

#4 is advertised in the earlier D.VII Specials, with cover illustration, but never published, alas.

Don't lose hope, gents. Ray may actually get around to doing this someday. However, Dave Roberts seems to have vanished from sight and I've done about all I can do concerning the Jasta colors. So there's a problem of - where to find authors??

Ray has hinted that Vol. 4 would contain info on the post-war use of D.VIIs by many countries, large & small. The problem is, who could gather all this info and write it up?? There's the rub.

However, a volume 4 would also give me a chance to do some addenda and errata on my stuff in the first three volumes - which is badly needed.

Hi Greg,

In our round table on 425/17 Dave was part of from time to time so you should have his email address and Taz might have his other contact information if you if you don't already have it.

Lloyd.
