Albatros D.II

Looking for any books, magazines with the best reference information on the D.II, specifically performance data for this aircraft.

What would people consider the "best" (sorry, I know that in itself can vary from different sources) source for this information? If it is a generic book covering Central Powers aircraft that is fine, just want what everyperformance curve (Speed vs Alt) that this out there.

I would recommend 'Albatros D-II' by Rudolf Hofling and 'German Aircraft of the First World War' by Grey and Thetford. I'm sure others here know resources as good or better than these.

Hofling's book is good, and also Windsock Datafile 100 on the D.I/D.II is indispensable.

Thanks for those tips - I already have Windsock 100 on the way (ordered over the weekend) and have "German Aircraft of the First World War" but will get onto 'Albatros D-II' by Rudolf Hofling.
