Many of you may remember the Nieuport Pages, a great website about WWI Nieuports, including identification information, profiles illustrating the history of the various models, and drawings. If you try going to the website,
http://mars.ark.com/~mdf/nieuport.html, you will find it is no longer there, but all of the information is still available through the Wayback Machine (
Internet Archive: Wayback Machine).
Pasting the URL for the Nieuport Pages into the Waybak machine box brings up a calendar of dates it was saved. The following link is from May, 2011:
The Nieuport Page. You can now bookmark this page to visit the Nieuport Pages whenever you want.
If any of your favorite internet resources have disappeared, and you know the web address or have them bookmarked, you can try the Wayback Machine to see if they have been saved. If you know of any other lost WWI aviation websites, feel free to post them here.
