Jenny markings

While waiting for any greater inpiration to hit, I thought maybe I might consider some painting or other with a "local"(for me) flair. Something Southern California. Specifically a March Field Jenny- but then I realized I've never seen an actual period photo of one of the March machines- it's always a restoration- never the real deal.
Can anybody out there help me out?
Thanks!

Robert,

I'm glad you're still rocking gently, and not shaking madly.

Your question is a tough one. There are two sources I'd check:

http://www.airminded.net/jenny/jenny.html

and

http://members.shaw.ca/flyingaces/archive1.htm

I can't gauarantee that there will be the photos you wanted, but there are a lot of Jenny photos on those pages.

Regards,

Roger Freeman's recent JN-4D restoration was finished in March Field markings. I have some pictures to provide you with!

Thanks- I had high hopes for Rosebud...but alas. As so often, I've got all the technical information, but it's those $#$%^%$& colors and markings!
The web has quite a bit of text history about Macrh Field in 1918, but I haven't run across any photos from this period.
