RE8 Colors

Hi again guys. I am in searchin of the Scheme for Lft. Armstrong's and Lft. Mart's RE8 1918.

Does anyone have a good idea to what exact colors. The boxart I have for this lil plane shows a brownish/tannish skin. Any help appreciated!

I have to confess I don't know to which aircraft you refer, but what kit is it? If it's the Airfix kit this is my interpretation.

I have some Harry Tate pics at http://www.wwimodeler.com/esc/re8.html

My Gallery
Camouflage finish of the R.E.8 aircraft.

Jasta5vonMuller:
The R.E.8 was painted P.C.10 a brown color on the top and side surfaces and clear doped on the undersides of the fuselage, wings and tailplane. The whole aircraft is varnished to water-proof the fabric.
Blue skies,
