Question

Is the Fokker DVII painted with the Seven Swabains on the side really obscure? I hardly ever seen any pictures or mention of this scheme.

You could call it obscure because it was only painted on one plane ((OAW) 4649/18) of Jasta 65. I have only seen two pictures of the plane, both are in P. Leamam’s book “Fokker Aircraft of WW1” pg 126. The two sides are different, one has the rabbit standing and the other has the rabbit running away. From the pictures you can see something like stags horns behind the cockpit but I can’t see it well enough to be sure.
