color info for Etrich Taube

I'm looking for color suggestions for an RC Etrich Taube that I'm building. I have some drawings that mention the taube covering being sealed with a rubberized substance that gave an apperance of an uneven, streaked, mottled greyish-brown color. The taube datafile has pictures of a Jeannin Taube restoration that has a rubberized coating that is orangish-yellow. Any suggestions as to what color I should use?

Thanks, Jim

Etrich Taube, what color?

They were beige in color, light tan.

Yellow Taube

Dan,
what's your thoughts on that yellow Taube in the Berlin Museum. The info that I have says that the original maker of the yellow riubberised fabric made up a new batch for the restoration using the original 1913 formula and exact specifications.
I can't help feeling tho' that even at that time a bright yellow Taube would have been considered decidedly odd! Maybe the stuff faded to a more 'dignified' colour quite quickly?
