Bristol Fighter F2b........can you say what and when ?

I cannot post the picture (for now as it is slightly too large ) of my Dad holding down the tail of a F2b being run up prior to flight.

The number is H 1668........

Can anyone say who built it and when.........?

Be also nice to know when it got struck off charge.

Thanks Ian
