Sopwith Camel model - What Squadron?

I was wondering if anyone recognized the squadron markings on this Camel R/C model. 66 Sqdn, perhaps? Any particular ace or pilot?

Best regards,
Dean

Capt D R MacLaren, No 46 Sqn, in Sep/Oct 1918.

You might want to check his victory list:

Thanks!

Thank you. I'm a bit redfaced that I didn't recognize the markings as being 46 Sqdn., seeing as how I have had a particular fondness for that unit since reading "No Parachute" in high school.

What threw me was the white fuselage stripes, which reminded me of 66 Sqdn Sopwith Pups.

The fact that it's 46 Sqdn. makes it even harder not to buy one of these new Hangar 9 Sopwith Camels. Only my poverty prevents me from doing something rash.

Very best regards, and thanks again.

Dean
