Nose art on a British Caproni bomber

Dear friends,
for first thing I want to thanks you for the kind answers to my last question.
I have another request for you.
As you know, few triplane Caproni bombers were briefly assigned to RNAS 6th Wing in Italy. Ship N-528, delivered on February, 18, 1918, in this picture sports the funny face of a British soldier.
Could you add some detail about this character?
Many thanks in advance and Happy Landings
Paolo

This chap was the creation of Bruce Bairnsfather,a cartoonist who fought, joined in the Christmas Truce, and was gassed,in the Great War,and is called 'Old Bill'. It was his representation of a typical Tommy in the trenches. Probably the most famous image was of him sharing a fox-hole,under a bombardment, with a young, complaining, private and saying,''Well,if you know of a better hole, go to it''.
