Ltn Paul Strähle Fokker D.VII

Good evening,

I'm doing a Revell 1/72 Fokker D.VII for my good friend Fernao, in order to use it in our Canvas Eagles games.

He wants a colorfull paint scheme that he saw in Osprey Nº63, 'Fokker DVII Aces of WWI Part 2', profile Nº 18, Fokker DVII (OAW) 4025/18, of Ltn Paul Strähle, Jasta 57.

I need more information about the colours of the landing gear 'wing' and the inner wheel covers.

Could anyone help me, please?

Thank you very much in advance, and the best regards from Spain,

Rinahe

Rinaho:
Paul Strähle's Fok.D.VII(OAW)4052/18 was covered with five color printed fabric, day intermediate pattern. The nose to 300mm aft the rear cabane strut was painted red.
250mm aft of the cockpit was painted a red band 450mm wide encircled the fuselage. The axle wing and wheel covers were painted red. The remaining fuselage, the empennage and all struts were painted light blue.
Blue skies,
