Georges Guynemer's Nieuport 17

Hey, guys. I'm going to be producing a line of visuals based on Nie.17 aces and the first one i'm going to render is Georges Guynemer.

Im trying to determine historical accuracy based on his markings of his wings. Some renderings by other artists or model makers are varied. I've seen his wings with a red and green coating on the upper side of the wings and then without.

Did he fly more than one Nie.17 or what are the actual historic markings.

Thanks guys!

Guynemer's Nieuport 17

David

Guynemer flew two N17s.

One - N1531 was as follows:

Nieuport 17 by Scott Lyle (Eduard 1/48)
Aluminum overall.

The other - N1530:

Aluminum fuselage with brown/green camouflaged wings.

Opinions differ as to the colour of the numbers and Stork emblem.

AND NOT LIKE THIS:
Maquette en bois du Nieuport 17 F.A.F Lt Guynemer, Maquettes avions de Légende : Maquette avion, maquette bateau, poster air france, affiche air france, maquette fusée, decoration marine, objets insolites, bisospheres, Maquette en bois du Nieuport 17
