Unknown bomber...

This aircraft crashed over allied territory near the front line during WWI.

Any idea of the type of it?

It's a Friedrichshafen with a bunch of rubberneckers blocking the view of the empennage. Ransom

Ruy: Yes, it appears to be one of the subtypes of the Friedrichshafen G.III, and it seems the plane is in the process of being disassembled after its crash--the engine cowling and radiator have been removed, and the wings outboard of the engine appear to have been removed. It's an interesting pic. Ransom
