BFW logo
With the "BFW Halberstadt CL.II" thread there was asked for the logo of the Bayerische Flugzeugwerke AG. As described in wikipedia the blue-white lozenge of Bavaria was used as background. With an aircraft in front, B on top and F and W at the bottom.
Data from the original cutting, labeled on doped, unbleached linen, about 8x8 cm.

Is there a chance for you to post an image of the Bayerische Flugzeugwerke AG logo ?? As I redraft in modern software as many of these as I can prove are accurate?

Thanks guys. I had asked about the BFW logo. I did see the info on Wikipedia. But I need to verify if the logo is indeed the one used on BFW aircraft, or if a BFW logo appears at all, and if more than one type of logo was used by BFW. For this I'd need a photo of a BFW CL.II rudder that shows the logo. And as I said, what looks like a logo in the photos I have may be a repair patch and not a logo at all. I have no evidence that BFW put their logos on CL.II rudders.
But again, thank you for looking.

I would bet like other craft it appears on it somewher. Of Laser's posting, I'd seen that before but was unsure what part of that poster IS THE LOGO, short of the little friar (if thats what it is) looks like he is praying for the glue to hold on moist days

van der Laan!!! Well to remember - and hope you feel well!
Sorry, I'm on the way to sell the original, so I could give nothing more than a rough description.

This is the BFW logo from the BMW archive. Seems to be a woven version.
