Sopwith Decals
Does anyone have a good image of the Sopwith logo that was used on the struts? Would like to see one of the Standard company as well, but more for reference.

Might this be it?
Don't know if its correct for struts as I've only seen this one on struts of replicas but I have seen it on side panels in period photos. I'm sure our resident experts can add more or correct me. Part of a sheet of waterslide decals I bought years ago that contained them in various sizes from roughly 9/16 up to 2 3/4 inches.
Hope this helps some
Salute,
Steve

does anyone have a good image of the Standard Co. logo? What about Beardmore? Even a rough look would be interesting.
I did find out that the Sopwith company put the logo on the outsides of the front landing gear struts, the leading edge of the front cabanes and L/E of the interplane struts. I think Standard put them on the side of all the struts, not sure if just outside, or in and out.

Here are a couple of my redrafts
The strut decal [ I generally print out on clear plastic then use a gold pen to fill in the non-white areas ]
And ... [ one of many] prop decals that were found on the Sopwith planes depending on where they were built
Hope it helps..

To be sure!
the prop decal will probably end up on the plane as well.
am tempted to use a modified Sopwith logo, as I have started calling my project a "Supwith". Food and Biblical implications, for those interested.

Have a local guy that can make up decals, as many as we want! Does anyone know the demensions of the Admiralty logo on the prop? I am guessing it is about 4.5 to 5" wide.
Also would like size of the Sopwith decal - from an image onWing-Nuts it looks like ity is 2" as it is half as wide as the interplane strut.
And for Russ, he did find a pic of a Ruston -Proctor logo that was put on the cockpit wood. Thanks to whomever the friend was. Any detail on size of that one?

Hi Glenn,
The round strut decal was 70mm diameter.
Cheers,
Dave.

Hey, that's excellent, Dave, thank you.
Any info on the Ruston-Proctor or the Prop decal? van der Laan, maybe you have it?
