Verner Voss' DR1 Cowling...
Hi
I know that this a hoary debate but I'd like to know if a consensus has formed around whether or not the Triplane he used in his last fight had a chrome yellow cowl, or not. One book I have, written in the 90's, said something about the Imperial War Museum having a yellow DR1 rudder which may have been taken as a trophy from Voss' plane. Did that lead anywhere?
