Contacting Alan Tolle

Hi Everyone,
About 20 years ago Mr. Tolle was kind enough to give me the French camo colors for my N 28. It was a paste that was mixed with butyrate dope to get the correct dope.
The SPAD XII was always my favorite plane, and at 68 years old, it's now or never for me to design and build a 1/3rd scale model.
Before I start this project, I want to see if the correct paint colors are available and I'm hoping Mr. Tolle can help with my project.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Jon Van Skiver

PS: My user name is derived from Waldo Heinrichs who's N 28 I modeled.

Hi Jon,

Alan is a member here at The Aerodrome, and his user name is oldpaint. He sent me an e-mail some time ago regarding the examination of samples under a microscope, and I haven't got back to him yet.

He certainly is an expert on colours and paint.

P.S., I fell asleep before I posted this, and Mike has replied in the meantime, but thought I would post this anyway.

Regards,

David.
