Question Fokker D V in Austrian service

Hi to all
I have returned to modelling aircraft after a while.
I am starting a special hobby Fokker DV,BUT I want to do it as one of the few the Austrians had.
I dont have the book on Austian aircraft so can someone point me in the right direction for colouring and markings.
I believe that they w ere used as trainers so would have been in the light colour with no camo.
looking forward to any help

Hallo Graham,

Are you sure the LFT received any D.V's? The Grosz/Haddow/Schiemer book, "A-H Army Aircraft of WW1" doesn't mention it at all over the course of 500+ pages.

Hello,

Neither does Peter Grosz' Mini-Datafile 11, the only monograph devoted to the Fokker D.V, mention that any D.Vs were supplied to the KuK forces. The D.V was "employed primarily in (German Army) flight schools, home defence flights or as trainers attached to combat units to introduce pilots with the operating characteristics of the rotary engine, scheduled to arrive with fighters such as the Fokker Dr.I...The D.V fighter-trainer was also flown by (German) naval defence flights ( combined with training service)..."

Thanks to all,I re read my notes, wrong fokker, D11 not DV.
But I like the DV so will proceed with the build as a trainer.
Got to track down the book Austrian Army Aircraft. I have the Aces book, but need more.
Thanks again
