Fokker D.VII Flies!

Gentlemen:
My 1/4 scale Fokker D.VII has finally taken to the air...in flight shots to follow soon!
Nice to see one's project finally get some altitude under the wings! It flew twice, both times with no incident. It's absolutely a terrific flyer, certainly the best one I've ever flown.

Congratulations!

Lyle, I'm really happy to see your DVII has taken flight. It looks absolutely fantastic - nice (and different) color scheme. I assume we'll see it at King Orange???

Lyle- Beautiful model. Assume you have seen Greg VanWyngarden's JG 2 book with this aircraft on the cover.
