2005 Hoosier Dawn Patrol
On Sept 24 the Hamilton County RC Flyers hosted the 2nd annual Hoosier Dawn Patrol. Unfortunately, we had a very light turnout. High gas prices and the threat of rain must have kept everyone away. But those who did attend shared a great day of mission flying and about $3000 of raffle prizes. We had 3 1/3 scale models present, Art Shelton's Nat's winning Eindecker , Bill Thompson's incredible Sopwith Pup and all the way from Arkansas, Dale Locanders magnificent Fokker DR1. All flew together several times, a very impressive sight. Overall, those who attended had a great time. The weather was perfect, The comraderie even better. You all missed a good one.
