Camel

Miguel, Just use the PC10 paint from Mick Reeves. It's in spray cans and the finish is accurate. You will drive yourself crazy if you get too scientific about the actual PC10 color. It gives you the brownish color you need and gets darker when oversprayed with clear satin finish poly.

IŽll follow your advice, I have read a lot about brown-greenish PC 10 and I must confess that I prefer to rely in somebody else eyes that to start become cracy about how to achieve a colour that for ones is brown with an slight tint of greenish, for others is kaki olive drab or even green with a tint on brown. But my problem still remains to find a good real aircraft to get as subject for modelling (keeping with the basic idea of aluminium cowl and rest in PC10).

Regards,
Miguel

Camel

Miguel, By "real" do you mean an existing Camel or one that is well documented? You could use the one that Rhinebeck has if it must be existing.

John,

As far as I know I can use both an original Camel (even if currently it is in static display) or a Camel flying reproduction. In the last case I should reproduce even the deviation from the originial that the reproduction might have. As far as I remember Rhinebeck Camel is a flying reproduction so I could use it as subject. However although it is an extremely nice Camel I still like more the aluminium cowl finish.

Regards,
Miguel

B7270,

Thank you very much for the link, it is exactly what I was looking for. In fact I have received that link information twice!, this is because I had put the same question in the rcscalebuilder forum and another guy there told me to link the same site I have already downloaded the 162 pictures. The kit has already been ordered I hope to receive it early.

Thank you all for your great help!!
