And that was all it needed; it is very stable, no bad habits at all, flying true and straight hands off - as Frank said, the right model for any intermediate flyer.
The idle was set a little too high so we had to wait until the fuel tank was drained before we could get it down again. And flying on idle the whole time it took 25 minutes to do that. The engine cut off just as Frank had approached the field, which was great timing, and he put it down very nicely with dead stick. One for the school books! Unfortunately the breaks locked

The verdict: a great Sunday flyer with no extra long setting up time at the field. The engine is absolutely adequate. Frank would like to add a few grammes up front to shift the CoG further forward, and we need to set tick-over a little lower for 'Controlled landings'
