Madman - Yes I was out of town, just back and yes I am still considering options. As far as weight goes, I was using 200 oz. without the power system as my entry to Motocalc. Not sure how close that is in reality. I had no intent to try to lighten.

And thanks for your input DJ. A great design.

Ready to fly, It weighs a hair over 15 lbs. So back out the engine and radio leaves you around 10 lbs. Add about a pound if covering with glenn's fabric.

Could you provide some info on the propeller you are using and about how much nose weight you had to apply to the gas version?

My flying prop is made from 2 Master Air Screw Scimitar 20-8's milled at the hub and epoxied together. I added no nose weight. With the Brison 2.4 it balances as built
