Here's a link to a really spectacular model build. Is this builder here?

That's quite a model isn't it? I really shouldn't look at build threads like that one. It's like wanting to be a writer and then reading Mark Twain or Shakespeare. Puts one off their game some. My 1/5 Dynaflite S.E.5a arrived today. Nice but no comparison. It is a nice flyer though by all accounts.

Hi Mike,
Yes, it's quite a model. And while it's true the Dynaflite kit isn't of the same ilk, and neither is anything I'll probably build in the near future, it would interesting to to pick a few of the easier to do details he does and incorporate them into a future project, or your Se5a. I for one try to do that with any project, try some technique I've never done before. Then that's why it takes me so long.

I am especially interested in his working with lithoplate, as I'm using some on my Fokker EIV, and might try more on the Albatros DIII, I plan to start this winter, and I really don't have a clue how to make the best use of it.
