Great looking Triplane!

Hi Dave,

That's really coming along nicely. I think you have the right approach with regards to "fun scale". In the air it will look perfect, and that's the important thing.

Any possiblility of us seeing this fly at the Western Front Dawn Patrol on September 20-21? You know you're more than welcome.

Dean Dingman, Event Director
Western Front Dawn Patrol Fun Fly September 20-21, 2008.

Thanks Dean, you never know, I might show up. I doubt it though I will be spending the entire summer in Germany, when I return I really should think about saving some money, lol. I will of course see you again at the Hoosiers event in August (I return a week before the event). Thanks for the kind words on the Tripe.

Hey Stan! Good to hear from you. Email me and let me know how things have been. Michelle was asking about your wife the other day.

tripe

He may be taller and bigger, but not better looking. David is our drive in movie man. Providing the projector for the movies.

BTW, David, I'm down 135 lbs and hope to have more off by the HDP time.

Good looking bird, I look forward to see it and you at the HDP2008.

Man, I've got to get building.

Send me you pictures on a disc and I will put them on the HDP website.

I've just looked in on your Tripe build. Very nice in deed.

I am really envious of the landing gear. I am planning on building a more scale gear for my PUP. I just recently bought a set of Replicraft plans for the PUP that has all the detail. A lot like yours. Your great looking gear and the new plans may get me motivated.

Thanks Dale, A friend made them for me from some pictures of a full scale. They are Moly Chrome steel, 1/4" and 3/8" stick welded together.

Did you get the DVIII finished yet? How about a link to some pictures?
