I'm still working on the D VIII. Just this weekend I started a thread here on The Aerodrome on the D VIII build and posted several photos to date of what I think are interesting aspects of this build. Check out the thread under Balse USA Fokker D VIII/ E.V. I messed up the spelling and don't know how to fix a thread title

I was thinking how nice it would be to have that working 1/3 scale rotary engine on the front of your Tripe

Yeah, shouldn't be a problem. The guy that built is said he had only about $30,000 in it.

Looks Great! Can't wait to see it fly.

You should be planning a trip to the Eastern Shore of Virginia in September...

Thanks Steve, I will try to remember. I look forward to August!

Rob, is there a fly-in there in September? Eastern Shore of Virginia? Do they have a western shore?! (just messing with you)

Very nice work David. "Fun scale"? I think not. What are you using for power again?

Thanks John, but it is funscale. If you saw it in person (maybe you can come to the Hoosier Dawn Patrol?) you would see what I mean.

It has a G62 turning a 24x10@5300 (plenty of thrust)
