mercedes 3a engine search

at the moment i build a 1/6 albatros dv kit from aerdrome rc. the original kit contains only a mercedes 3a engine, made from balsawood. i am search for an mercedes 3a engine in pvc. williams brothers only have the le rhone engine in his offers, maybe someone of the builders her can tell me a supplier, where i can get an 1/6 mercedes 3 a by pvc.

Try Arizona Modelcrafters: Replica Vintage Engine Kit Mercedes

They make a 1/6 kit.

I have a Fokker D-VII kit from AZM in scale 1:6 with an included Mercedes engine kit. It's a bit heavy and would require some "Dremel lightening" to be suitable for the AerodromeRC kit. Nicely detailed however. All other "kit" Mercedes IIIa engines I am aware of are scale 1:4 or larger. See RCUniverse and RCScalebuilder forums for examples of scratch built examples in various scales. Good luck on your build, please post a few photos.........John
