I didn't have my camera.I lost electric in my van(no windows or fan or AC) so I had to stuff the DRI into a Toyota Avalon. In my rush to get down to Oregon I forgot a lot of stuff.I think one of my buddies may have some pics.I still don't have the machine guns or dummy engine installed yet so it's still a work in progress.

PS:Prop Nut,are you back in the US of A?

Yep, I am home in Michigan. Poorer and somewhat wiser. I leave Thursday afternoon for the Hoosier Dawn Patrol at the AMA site in Muncie Indiana. I also am trying to remember everything that I need to take with me.

My wife surprised me when we returned home the other night...while I was gone she and her dad and brothers built me a two car garage!!! She kept the secret the whole time she was there with me, it wasnt until I drove in the driveway that I found out! She wanted to make sure it was big enough for me to use part of it as an RC shop so it has 9 1/2 foot ceilings and is extra deep (28ft) with 9x8 doors. I have said it before and I will say it again, I have the bestest wife in the world (arguably).

Wow!!!
What a great coming home present.I could sure use a garage like that.I have the land but my lot is sloped, so it would take some grading $$$$$.

Welcome back!!

PS:Your wife could very well be the best!,though I find mine to be not too shabby. Are you taking the DVII to Muncie?

Yes, I spent several hours yesterday hooking up a new cut off switch, reworking the fuel filler system, etc. It is ready for the show! There is a guy there with a Fuji 43cc (I think) on a 1/4 scale SE5a, I hope we can do some formation flying together. We will have to ask others not to fly during that though, otherwise noone will hear us!!! I took it to a show a couple of years ago with the 34cc on it and the crowd thought it was an electric as you couldnt hear it over the other planes in the air. If you leave this afternoon you can make it down there by Friday John. This goes for you also Dale (John Fitz, you should also be able to make it, lol) Dave, I know you will be there.

I was pleasantly surprised today to find that I could fit four 1/4 scale models in my van!
