Had the day off while my truck is being repaired so I did some more on the instruments and panel. The bottom panel will be removable.

This is the best I can figure out from available photo's the instrument panel was arranged. I have to make the ammo box access doors yet and add a couple of screws. Finally finished up the internal stuff so I can glue the turtle deck on. I thought about making it removable but I decided this was stronger. Next I will enclose the cockpit.

Thanks Koloman, I hope so. WF2, If there is an ORA meet I'll be there. Can't help but think with things in the world being what they are that not too many people will be doing much this summer. Hope I am wrong.

Just some more done on the instrument panel and cockpit. I'll be doing the fiber glassing soon. Don't know why that little panel looks so red in the photo. It's not really. I am working on the Schwarzlose guns now.

This is one gun just about done. Lots of time taken to make all the little latches and try to tell how things were made from the drawings and photo's I have. Once it's painted black It will be hard to see the work involved. I will make a cushion for the stock butt too and then it's on to the next one. Not trying to make an exact scale model of the gun just want it to look the part when on the aircraft.

Lookin' good! Luckily on the OAW Albatros the guns were inside so I don't really need to make a pair.

Okay, one down and one to finish. Well, almost. Have to make the fittings to bolt the guns to the aluminum frame and paint the guns. Yard work got in the way of finishing the second gun today.

While I am finishing the guns Henri Kaper has made the last piece for the instrument panel for me from drawings provided again by Koloman Mayerhofer. It is the pump instruction plate and will fit in the space under the rpm gauge.
