Sunday Flying Pics

It was a wonderful day for flying Sunday. Met some friends at a local flying field for the afternoon.

The Pups are 1/3 scale and belong to Greg Emerick (brown and natural linen) and Art Shelton (green).

Thanks for looking.

Nice shots, Mike! That field looks like a winner too. Do you guys have a pro grounds keeper?

Thanks! No, the field is a private one owned by a local farmer who flies RC. He does keep it nice! It's a 40 min. drive as opposed to my home club field that's only about a 15 min. drive. I spend equal time at both usually.

Very nice, those must be Balsa USA kits? Our Esteemed Club Prez has one powered by a G62, one of the gentlest flying big models ever.

Those pics (especially the last one) demonstrate that old adage: "If it looks right it will probably fly right". And the pup sure looks right!

They certainly look like BUSA pups, but remember the very best pup kits or plans come from Mick Reeves---not forgetting the Toni Clark 'Practical Scale' example----both exemplary builds and outstanding flyers on Titan G62.----I know , iv'e done them, and Micks Camel--same scale. (bloody wickerwork seat was the hardest part of that build)
