Simply amazing! Very realistic. How about some machine gun action to go with it?

Simply inspiring job!

Thanks guys, flew again yesterday at Duxford, the day was hot and humid, which is pretty unusual for the UK. After take off, it didn't want to climb and the flight was at full power but was certainly struggling, I decided to land early, before the slot ended and check the model out. No issues found other than a very hot engine, so I need to get more cooling in there, so that's this weeks task.

Dave, how do you get on with the hotter conditions in the US?

Two things, Mixture settings and the right prop. I have flown in 100 degrees and not lost the engine. What brand prop are you using?? I highly recommend Menz wide blade and setting the motor a tad rich. How much run time on the motor??

Dave, I'm using a Menz 24x8, the motor is rich, but she has only had about 4 tanks through so is still tight. I will up the octane rating on the fuel and see if I can get more cooling in.

Excellent job, mate! She does look as good in the air as on the ground. The exhaust choise is quite kean. I was wondering how much of a pain it would be to rout it through the collector?
Some day I hope to get to that size.

Beautifull work! And I loved the little "tire skid" sound when you touched down in the deep grass. Sounded like a full size plane, (even if you didn't mean to do it that way ). Great work.

ZZ.

I have DJ's Albatros DIII plans coming from MAN and plan to have a short kit cut from Lasercut USA. I read all of this thread and a couple prior to this, but I need some info on suppliers for the spinner, scale engine and cockpit.
Any ideas other than Arizaona Modelers (read too much on them)?

Sorry gadwall6, I can't help on those parts as they are all homemade on my model. Being in the UK, getting any parts from the US can be a pain so it was the easiest option.
