Help need Le Rhone 110hp drawings

Hi
I need some help finding scale drawings of Le Rhone 110hp .
Myself and a guy in Japan are building a 1/6 scale RC model of a Fokker Dr1.
I need the drawings of Le Rhone to do the Dummy scale engine for the plane.

You will find the build on RCuniverse forum under Scratch-built Fokker Dr.I 1/6 scale

Hello Greg,
I Googled Le Rhone 110 HP and came up with a number of links. A good one possibly (for your use) is Google Image Result for http://www.weakforcepress.com/CDs/LeRhone%20110hp/InsDiag.jpg

Good luck and keep us posted!

Why not use the Williams Brothers 1/6th scale kit? It is beautiful.

Le Rhone 110hp drawings

Hi DJ
Well the Williams Brothers is beautiful kit but is not completely right.
The cylinders are too short for one.

That looks like an easy enough fix though.

Le Rhone 110hp

The crankcase on the WB kit seems to be too small upon closer consideration. BTW, another problem with the WB cylinder mouldings is that when the halves are assembles with the spark plug on the side the seam is right up front and definitely visible. I think I'd rather rotate the cylinder and scratch-build new plugs along with more accurate rocker heads.

Well, here we all are! I'm wondering how the diameter of a rotary engine is measured. The Oberursel has a stated diameter of 96cm. But there is that measured to? Is that the top of the cylinder head or the tallest point on the rocker arm? That would make a bit difference.

The WB kit looks subjectively too small to me and I don't know why. I'm sure I'll be able to use it as a good starting point but it'll need some work.
