Rhinebeck Show Question

During the model airplane show at Old Rhinebeck, do they still hold the full-scale airshow at 2 pm?

I'd like to spend at least one day there this year and want to see the real ones fly in addition to the models.

Fokker Ace: as for seeing the "real ones" fly... The last time I was there it was so humid, they had a hard time keeping the engines running. The Bleriot could only taxi. The Albatross barely got off the ground...made one pass over the field and landed. I hope you have better luck than I had. It was "Golden Age of Aviation" that day and the bigger planes from the 30s had no problem dealing with the 90+% humidity. It was the day that JFK jr disappeared.... I remember it well.

Yes maybe this time in September it will be less humid. Last time I was there it was fall and beautiful weather.

So does the normal airshow still go off at 2 in addition to the RC flying? My guess is yes but maybe its a different show?

Rhinebeck

Fokker Ace, From what I have been reading here in the "Rhinebeck Museum trouble" thread I don't think you can really depend on there being a full scale flying event at all. Last year was pretty disappointing. It's a real crap shoot. http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/ol...-new-post.html
