A.E.G. G.IV BOMBER in 1/8 Scale
Hi all ! Here are a few shots of a WW1 Bomber I have waiting to maiden. Wingspan is 90". It is powered by two OS FSR 61s turning 12-6 props at 11,800 rpm and weighs just under 12 pounds without fuel.

She's a real beauty! Did you do the Marine Lozenge yourself? Now all you need are Hans, Fritz, und Karl in the cockpits!

Hey gunslinger, don't forget to mention that you built it off of Cleveland plans, which means you virtually scratchbuilt it!

Jecull,
That isn't Marine Camouflage on the AEG, it's the Night Bomber camouflage scheme. He did a great job.

A thing of beauty, thanks for the images. has it flown yet?
Mossie, who's a member here, did a lovely sim model AEG GIV for Targetware, lots of working interior goodies and nicely flight modeled.

Thanks guys, glad you like it. I did start with Cleveland plans that were poor but still helpfull. The aircraft is G 1125/16 from the second production batch in night camo. I am not sure of the colors and suspect the lilac should be more red. Used 4 rolls of 2" wide tape to mask the hex pattern. Over and over.
I have taxied enough to lift the tail and ground handling is ok. When the weather cooperates she will fly and I'll let you know how ie does.
Occupants and armerments will come after the maiden.
Pat
