1/4 Albatros

Hi all, I'm a new member and interested in building an R/C Albatros. Question is, which kit. I'm looking at the Arizona DVa or the Protor DV. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of each? Or is there something else out there?

The Proctor kit is an absolute masterpiece---like everything they do-----but, like everything they do VERY expensive----but my word what you get is quality (I had their 1/4 DV11 some years ago) so I know -----Iv'e been there.

Arizona----well---well, my rec. ---for what it's worth-----don'y go anywhere near.
If you go DV --and wan't lozenge fabric--look no further than GTM Glenn torrence is an absolute master----his Fokker kit's are outstanding and he is presently working on a 1/3rd. S.E.5a kit

Albatros

Hello Brian,
You can also try Dave Johnson's 1/4 scale, there is a build thread on RCU in the Scale forums. I'm currentley doing his 1/3 scale and it frames up very quick, and is well engineered. Proctor is a fantastic option also. Hope this helps.

Which kit?

There is a thread underway on RC Scale Builder (RCSB.com) on this very subject, under the "other kits" forum..........John
