I checked Arizona Models it kits Tom Polapink`s Pfalz D.III in different scales but than again it`s Arizona Models. If BUSA got a hold of Tom to work it into their structure I know it will be a HIT Tom does Excellent Work/Detail.

How about the Salmson 2A2, or the Breguet 14 two seaters? Those were very successful planes that were also used by American Squadrons.
Also, at 1/4 scale they would be an impressive size.

I have my own designer. He is pretty well known and is very good. I will release his name when we get started. I love Polapink's work and may contact him in the future. We have a couple of planes in mind. I have seen one kit for one plane (almost 50 years old) and another was offered as an arf by a overseas company. I hope both will be recieved well. I do like the Pfalz D111 as for two seaters, I like the idea. I wish I could be more informative but I think it is best to wait till the eggs hatch before the chickens are counted so to speak. Keep the Ideas flowing, all will be considered. The hold up is getting the laser. As a start up business, I have little capital. The plan is to get every thing ready by march or april then start production as soon as funds are available for the equipment which will be around that time. Cheers!

In 1/4 to 1/3 scale:
Sopwith Triplane.
Morane-Saulnier L Parasol.
Bristol M1c.
Avro 504.

I do like the German 2 seaters as well (LVG, Aviatik, etc.)

kit

I think the Martinsyde Elephant would make a good kit. Probably best in 1/4 scale since it is pretty large. Lots of wing with dihedral and easy to cool the engine unlike a Pfalz DIII. It would be easy to balance and a nice easy flyer. Plenty of color schemes and markings too. I like the Phoenix DI,II also and am considering building one in 1/3 scale. It would make a nice 1/4 scale kit too.

Just for the sake of the Weird, the Hansa-Brandenburg D.I (Type KD) would make for quite the bird at the field. Probably couldn't get alot of buyers for such a weird bugger though.

Let me add votes for the Pfalz D.IIIa, Sopwith Triplane, and Bristol Scout. 1/4-scale or even 1/3-scale would be fine.

I'm also a bit surprised that nobody besides Mick Reeves kits large-scale Sopwith Camels. You would think that it would be more available, given the popularity (notoriety?) of the type.

Why would you do plans for Arizona Models ?

He is getting a bad name on a lot of forums . Just will not deliver the goods .

I have not had any dealings with him, it is just what I have read about Arizona Models that makes me a bit doubtful about buying from him .
