Hey steve, I know who you are but I don't think we have met. We have common friends. I will attend the dawn patrols. I have been to the past two and was at the ohio dawn patrol this year. I didn't have anything to fly (I crashed my SSW DIII early on) However, I hope to have a prototype or two by next year's event. Do you have a red Fokker D III? I may have talked to you if you do.

I'd go with the Pfalz, DIII in 1/4th scale, not 1/3rd! This size is too big and too expensive for my tastes. It would be simple enough to build a DIIIa from the DIII or vise-verses.

I also like the Albatros DIII!

I thought I had responded to this question previously. When looking back over, I don't see where I did! This must mean old age is at my doorstep!!
