What would you like to see kitted?

I would like to know what type of ww1 bird would be very welcome to the ww1 community at large? I have a 1/4 scale SSW D111 (DJ's plans) and a Sopwith pup (BUSA) Working on a 1/3 weiss dr1. I love most ww1 planes and get a bit dissapointed to see the same pups, triplanes D7's ect. I know these planes are the most often kitted and therefore assume they are the most popular. I love my D111 even though I am rebuilding after my cabanes came unsoldered in flight. My point is there are numerous others that have excellent flight characteristics and would make wonderful kits. I am planning on starting a small company to kit some of these birds (More info to come after the first of the year) and I value your input.

I am like you I like the unusual stuff. I am working on plans for a Roland DVI for Glen Torrence but theres planes like the Roland CII that need doing, a good Pfalz DIII I will be doing an albatros series all on 1 planset of the alb DI, DII, DIII, and DVa as its just 2 sets wings and 2 fuses so why not have a variety.

a good Bristol Scout is another you dont see too often. and some LVG's I think ya get the idea of a lot of stuff I hear about and am asked to do but just dont have enough years in the day to do all the requests

Hope that helps some

A Pfalz D.III for sure.........especially in 1/6 scale..... I admire 1/4 and 1/3 but I personally prefer 40 size stuff.......

I'd like to see somebody do a Pfalz D.III.

I'd also like to see somebody make a sport scale (Balsa USA style) Camel, Albatross (of any type), or Sopwith Triplane.

They would make fun beaters.

New kits

Any of the two seaters (Rumpler, LVG, Aviatik, Albatros, etc) would be good. They should probably be 1/6 scale to keep transportable. Add my vote for Pfalz D-III also...........John

Although they are ARF they do leave the scale buff room to embellish and they have a terrific range of 1/5th scale:

In some cases cheaper than I could build them for - specially if you factor in time! Also remember the price is in AUD not USD.
