Eindecker color and finish

I am completing a "stand off" scale RC Fokker Eindecker E III, and I am in a quandry. I need data on appropriate color and finish, andwould appreciate any adivce on an appropriate scale covering for this plane. I plan to go with a standard tannish color configuration, and I assume that it is a matted finish, but I am not certain. Any help in identifying an authentic color by brand name would be appreciated. I prefer not to paint. I have consulted Squadron/Signal and Greg VanWyngarden as resources, would also appreciate any other references that you might recommend. This plane is to be used in a proposed Dawn Patrol at my RC aerodrome.
Thank you

My Gallery
Dan San Abott give his best in article about the machine. Overall coat was natural fabric in medium cream color. As well you complete RC model you need to find some good way to mix color as well you are use 2K urethane or epoxy coats.

Cheers

Have you already covered your plane? If not look at Balsa USA's Solartex in Natural or Antique will be real close. You can order a sample pack from them to see if you like it.

If it's not too late...

Don't forget to consider scale: dunno what you've chosen, but any reduction in the size of an object (whether aircraft or auto or toaster) will dramatically affect the proper/scale color (hue/shade/intensity) used on the object.

Using the "real thing" on anything but a 1:1 replica will look/be wrong.
