Aviatik
Hi Dan-San, good to hear from you. The Aviatik is waiting for some prop testing before we try to put it in the air. Once that is done and we have a good day. It will be maiden'd. I have had another set back with me health but I'm okay. Found out I have a heart problem which really came as a surprise. There are no blockages and I didn't need a stent but there is damage to my heart which can't be fixed. I'll be on meds. for the rest of my life but it's better than the alternative. I feel fine and am still able to do what I want. Anyway, the Aviatik will fly before long. Here's a photo at the field before she was 100% complete. I think the colors are spot on.

Been There.
Hi John:
I have the same problem. I had my first heart attack in 1979 and a second in 1988, and I had another one for 21 years. I walk, follow a diet, knock off all fats, eat lean meat, drink nonfat milk, knock off sugars, use Equal or one of the sugar free sweetners. (gotten use to it) and salt! I cheat once in a while. I take 11 meds every day, some twice some three times a day. I take them without fail. I am now 86 and I am going to celerbrate my 100 birthday in thirteen and a half years and then some. Do what the Doctor says and you do fine, just like me. Walk thirty minutes every day John, excercise your brain as well. Don't give up, Don't set on your ass, move. Stay active!. What good for you is also good for you wife. Read food labels. My wife Patti has been my rock, she has learned to cook delicious meals that are heathy. I have pie, she uses canola oil and olive oil. There are many cookbook out for healthy cooking.
I have out lived my first cardioligist. He did not practice what he preached.
Blue skies John,
Dan-San

Aviatik
Dan-San, All good advise. I will make sure I heed it. Funny thing is I have always been Athletic and have been pretty careful with my diet. My wife is also very aware of healthy eating and cooking. Never had any symptoms. Doctor says I had a "silent" heart attack at some time. Don't have to worry about me sitting on my ass. I still spend about eight hours a day on my feet during my ten hour shift at work. Anyway, I hope to have as long and interesting life as you have. I'll do my best to make it so.

It's Patrick!
Hi John:
I just blew up the photo to look at the Aviatik, I was startled at your picture, you look like my brother Patrick. I just called Patti in (wife) to take a look at your photo, she said, "Its Patrick!" I knew there was a connection, I liked you from the beginning. The resemblance is startling.
Merry Christmas P I mean John.
Dan-San

Well, Dan-San, most people tell me I look like James Brolin at least when I was younger. Glad I remind you of someone you like. Hope you and Patti have a great Christmas and many more. After the holidays I hope to have some video and sound of the prop testing for the Aviatik. I think you'll enjoy the sound of the 40cc,4-stroke. Cheers.
John
