I have entered my 1/6th scale scratch built Siemens Schuckert D.III in the static competition at the AMA Convention this weekend in Ontario, California.
My thanks goes to all of the people on this site who answered my questions over the last year and a half.
I hope to see some of you there. I will be around on Sunday from about 3:00pm until the show closes at 4:00.
I've been following your build thread on the "other" forum. Remarkable craftmanship like your superb D-III sets a high standard indeed for the rest of us mere mortals, thanks for posting!.............John
Thank you everyone for your nice comments. Han1, that E.V looks good. Good luck with the flights.
The D.III model got a third place in its category (Military Scale Non-Jet). Not very satisfying but better than nothing, I guess.
Allan, What a fantastic job you did! I too have followed along on your build thread @ RCU. Most enjoyable and informative! Thank you for all the work you did with the presentation there!
All I can say is the two airplanes that scored higher then yours must have truly been something! Congrats! Looking forward to the test flights and flight reports and only test fly her when your ready!
