Cox 1/2A Mufflers -- Silicone Soakers of Sound

Mufflers are now essential for flying with wet power at many venues. Mufflers for Cox 1/2A engines, both factory installed (QZ and QRC models) and after market kits, have been rather expensive and scarce in recent years (although EBay listings suggest that this seems to be improving).

Using silicone tubing, two hobbyists have come up with their own mufflers for Cox 1/2A engines --
