Great flight. I have one and it flys great also. Unfortunately, they have gotten a poor reputation of snap rolling if not set up properly.

Yes, I know what you mean. I've put about 6mm under the rear wing attachment points, put differential in the aileron throws and couple in about 30% rudder! But it flys like it is on rails now, a real delight.

Sweet! It looks terrific flies superbly! Nice job. What prop are you using with the G23 - flying weight?

I'm using an 18x6W APC prop and it weighs about 6kg all up.

That is light. If my conversion is correct that is about 13.2 lbs. Mine weighs about 14.5 lbs (6.6kg I think)

I did find out that they don't do very well at 22 lbs. I built a second one and scaled it out including ply sheeting panels on the wing. I got carried away with paint and dope in the tail and had to add 4 lbs of lead in the cowl. It is however hanging in my shop ready for a rebuild and weight loss program. It survived the crash very well.

Here's a photo on it's one and only take off run.

Looks great. With the 23 I was lucky and didn't need any lead in the nose.

Looks like a great flying model. I've been kicking myself for not buying one that was at a swap meet last winter.
