Does anyone know if there are any downloadable "seaplane" patches for use with RB or RB 2 ???
Many thanks!

I checked out the thread that you sent the link for, Ross... Very informative, but unfortunately, most of it was way above my head. So, I did the next best thing (Since I was already in the neighborhood...) and I contacted one of the more "enlightened" of the authors posting. We'll see what comes of it.
Thanks for the reply though, Ross! It was most kind of you, and , who knows... it may lead somewhere!

Your quite right, Ross, I've never noticed any large bodies of water in RB or RB2... Just rivers... Come to think of it, Thats all the "waters" I've seen in either game. I don't recall any lakes, do you???

Well, I guess if I ever get to fly that saucy little seaplane... I'll be ruuning the rapids, so to speak!
Many thanks, Ross!

I have never tried the Italian Front patch in RB3D, but in reality seaplanes were used in the rivers and lakes in Northern Italy along the Austrian frontier. I think a seaplane patch used in conjunction with the Italian Front patch would be awesome!
Unfortunately, RB3D has gotten a bit old and it seems that the activity in producing add-ons for it has slowed quite a bit. It may already be close to the end of its life span.

It's a shame that we can't have an ocean and Uboots and zepplins for seaplanes to have fun with. There are 2 planes for CFS2. Sopwith Cockoo and the Flexstowe. Done by the same mod maker but I lost the link to his site. He also did a few other WWI planes for CFS2.
