CFS2 WWI questions:

Hi folks. Got to make this quick - need to get into some mischief. heh.

Luft and I are working on some WWI CFS2 schtuff.

We was wondering - does the Dreidecker have a reserve fuel tank on her, and if so, how much litre wise?

We've ALMOST got the DVII flying; just a few more adjustments. We're trying to be 1% on her, which is tough - still going through the flying tests. Guess who gets to do that.

Perfect stress reducer after work - shooting down the Tommies...

Here be a pic to whet the appetites..

Tasty... SE5as die so well. Now if only that feller would quit screaming so... *evil grin*

The screenshot looks great.

I've got a Spad 13 , Dr.1, and HP100 from SimTech that I fly in CFS2. It's great fun!

I don't know if the Dr.1 has a reserve tank, but I kind of doubt it.

Regards,

Definitely no reserve tank in the DR1. Just the one, 72 litre capacity.

Bucky.

... for some reason, my earlier post was "et" by the forum. Guess there was a glitch perhaps.

Thanks to both of you for the information; I made the adjustment to the tank volume in the Dreidecker and now I'm working on the flight files. They just aren't right. Neither were the ones in the DVII, the Albatros or any of the other planes- Allied or not - that I have for the game.

Luft strives for accuracy, so that's a real sticky wicket with him and me when it comes to CFS2, be it WWII or WWI. Plus we like to fly with the panel or virtual 'pit on for that "realism" feel. So if there's a good virt pit, we are happy and will make the other adjustments as we see fit and as the specs lay out for us.

The Dr-1 is now extremely twitchy and will drop the left wings if you ain't "on" it. Which is what I like. ... hehehe
