Hi Jastaflieger
As bzhyoyo says it's FREE. You can download it then burn it onto a blank CD and take it to your other PC. Also some kind people will burn it on CD again for no payment!, for those with very slow internet connections so that's a possibility. There's a thread about this by Nod in the SimoutHouse forums
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...isplay.php?f=7 it's a sticky post at the top somewhere "OFF CD's- "Operation SendOFF" Starts Now!"

But now I think it is payware. Might be worth it though. The planes are nice, not all of them are complete. I think you get 4 or 5 complete aircraft that are pretty darn nice.

Your right, I think . I think WM is calling it "forced donation" ware. Well either way, you get 4 or 5 planes that look to be complete and they are pretty nice indeed. Plus, I think there will be a lot more to come in the future.

whatever the actual term is doesn't matter

FACT: Phase 1 is totally free download, free play, full stop. There are about 16 or so planes in there now (not 5 or 6).
FACT WM will still bring out a free superpatch to encompass all the updates, fix some planes etc.

FACT: Phase2/3 will be something you'll have to pay for. IF you want it. Again not set in stone yet, but there will probably be a similar amount of NEW planes (not 5 or 6).

But if memory serves me, PHASE 2 (a development phase), will address some of the incomplete aircraft in PHASE 1. Soooo, to get complete planes, you will need to pay for em.

No big deal, I kinda like that idea.

"Latest OFF Developments Supa Patch 1.0
The OFF Phase1 supa patch should be up by latest end of next week.

It will replace all the partial patches that we have put up in the past month - however we will leave the partial patches up for those with modems

Thus there will be two files:

1) - Supa Patch 1.0 about 50Mb can be appiled to any version of OFF- it will include:

1.1) All patches to date in one.
1.2) Completed RE8 and Hannover and some tweaks to various craft
1.3) Miscellaneous bug fixes.

2) Patch 0.37 to 1.0 about 20 Mb - can only be applied to OFF version 0.37.

Best

Is there any chance they'll put the whole kit and kaboodle in a box and sell it stand-alone?

Hmmm, wait a second here... my Battle for Europe game says CFS3. So will OFF work with that?

Can you tell I'm a computer geek?

OFF actually needs cfs3 as it copies files from a legit install of cfs3 to be able to work. It can't be standalone as we don't have a license to distribute cfs3 source files.
