Question Aces High/ Blue Max expansion question

Ok, this is a long shot, but here it goes.

I wonder if any of the people that visit this forum bought this game, the basic game sells on eBay occasionally, but I can't find the expansion. If somebody wants to part with it, that would be really nice, but all I need is a xerox or scan of the aircraft data charts, I would even be happy with just a scan of the page where the Sopwith Pup appears, and if I have to beg on my knees, I would be satisfied with somebody just taking a couple minutes to type the Sopwith Pup altitude bands, climb and dive for each band, and the increments.

The reason I ask is that I am desperate, I have 4 wargames and none show data for the Pup (Richtofen's War data don't help) and I need it for my coming early war campaign, where the blighters of my friends playing the British want to fly Pups instead of Nieuports (wich I have game values for) I should strap them into DH2s pushers and start the campaign on Bloody April. Serves them right!

But if I did that, I would be left without anybody to play with

PS I just bought the Sopwith Pup aces book, and I wonder why anybody in their right mind would want to fly one. Performance wise it might be slightly better than a Nieuport 17, but the Vickers had a lousy sycnhronizer that kept jamming, but do they listen?

I know nothing about war games but from everything I have ever read, the Pup was apparently a delight to fly. Also above a certain altitude it had the Albatross licked. Again the Albatross had the achilles heel of a big turning circle.
I never heard of any RFC pilot running it down. The Camel was the complete opposite.
I hope this helps.

I think I have the game you need.

The 'blue max' expansion is not the same game as the stand alone game 'blue max' by GDW. Is the one in the brown /cream box with the pilots goggles on the front?

Send me a private message if you would still like the information!
Nick.

According to the pilot reports/books I've read on the Pup it was superior to the Albatros DIII above 14,000 ft due to it's low wing loading. They pilots tried to stay above that altitude just so they could keep a slight edge on manouverability over the Albies. Other than that the Albatroses had them beat solid below 14,000, they were better armed, and faster and if flown in a boom and zoom style could handily beat a Pup. But, above 14,000 the Pups held the edge as they could more easily manouver, so that even their Vickers could down a DIII (if it didn't jam).
