Any OFF Pilots Here?

Hi All,

Pretty simple question - anyone here flying OFF at the moment? I've got my copy of CFS3 and my buddy is burning me a copy of OFF onto a cd - should finally get to try it in a few days - very excited.

Just thought I'd see who here was enjoying OFF and if you had any good war stories to share while I wait eagerly.

I have flown about 20 missions with it, and while it is a darned good mod of a quirky program, it does have some issues. I especially disliked the mission type to shoot up a aerodrome, which isn't all that hard to do if you sneak up on them, and can even scoot over the front, but then the program tells you that you have reached the attack point and should head to the aerodrome. It doesn't seem to recognise that you have already done it. This is very frustrating as you almost never get back once the aerodrome is awake. Other than that, it is generally very good, but never, never, never fly through clouds. You will almost always lose control and auger into the fields of Flanders. This simulates problems with loss of orientation by pilots when in a cloud. You can fly past them, through thin overcast, but avoid the real clouds.

Also, check out the OFF forum on Sim OutHouse, it is great.

Enjoy the game, I have!

Amazing mod. It should have been sold as an seperate game. I only get time to play against the AI.
