RB3D Player & WWI SIM LAN Event 2007 Dayton

S! All,

We now have less than 5 months before Aces Over Wright Field 2007. If you are going to attend you may want to start making your arrangements. The venue of the event is directly across from the National Museum of the United States Air Force at the brand new Comfort Suites Hotel. This year there will even be a small LAN on the flight line.

Please be sure to register so that we know how many computers we'll need to make arrangements for in the conference room of the Comfort Suites Hotel, and how many guests we will be expecting for dinner in the museum on Saturday night, September 22nd. In 2005 the dinner at the museum was the highlight of the weekend and you're not going to want to miss it.

This year's event will be held at the brand new Comfort Suites Hotel directly across from the National Museum of the United States Air Force. The conference room at the Comfort Suites Hotel is 2,000 square feet, and we will once again have a pair of bundled T1 lines for an internet connection so that we can run a public server during the event. There are 65 rooms available, and the rate will be $79.00 per night. For reservations, you can e-mail comforthotels@aol.com. Be sure to mention that you are with the Virtual Aces group.

Your Virtual Aces team will implement a LAN on the flight line at this year's Dawn Patrol Rendezvous to present a demonstration of virtual World War I aerial combat. The network will consist of at least six computers, and the attendees of the Dawn Patrol Rendezvous will be allowed to participate in the demonstration free of charge. Volunteers from Virtual Aces will be on hand to provide instruction for the participants of this truly interactive program.

Please visit www.virtualaces.net for more details.

Please make your hotel reservations now. The hotel will open tomorrow and the official grand opening will be 1 May 2007. I hope to have the majority of the 65 rooms booked by the end of the month. Let's try to book the entire hotel like we did in 2005.

Here’s a list of the features at the Comfort Suites Hotel;

Free High-Speed Internet (wired & wireless)
Free Deluxe Continental Breakfast
Indoor Pool
Fitness Center
Free USA Today (Monday Thru Friday)
Coin-Operated Laundry
Valet Laundry Service
Large Conference Center and Business Office
All Rooms have a Microwave, Refrigerator, Cable TV, Hair Dryer, Coffee Maker, Iron & Ironing Board, Large Desk (Workstation), and Free HBO.
Remember, you can cancel your reservation right up until 24 hours before your arrival at no cost. So, if you even think you may attend you will want to get your reservations made right away. You can e-mail comforthotels@aol.com or you can call 937-414-0490.
