Il-2 Sturmovik Add-On for WWI

I was just introduced to the wonderful world of IL-2 (I know it's been out six years already but I'm not one to keep up with the latest releases) and I seem to remember somebody somewhere saying there is a WWI add-on for the game. Just wondering if anybody might know where I can access it. Thanks.

There's actually no mods/addons for World War I for IL2 as of this rate. There was one planned for a completely stand-alone game called "Knights of the Skies" by Team Gennadich, but their website has said that they've needed a break... for 3 months... GTF back to work, TG.

My Gallery
I think someone has created a WW1-themed campaign/skin pack for the game - it doesn't use new models or flight-modelling, but instead pitches the various biplanes in the game against each other as if it was all WW1. I think this uses the France map. Now I'm just trying to remember where I saw it - perhaps over at simhq.com ...

That would work. Didn't Malta have three British Gloster Gladiators named "Faith", "Hope", "and "Charity" that defended the island against Italian Fiat CR.42 Falco biplanes? That would essentially be WWI combat.
